In honor of October's most awesome of holidays, I am going to begin a three-part series about the gentlemen zombie's choice of cuisine: the 'tween brain. However, I need to be frank. During early adolescence (ages 11 to 16), the body experiences more physical changes than it has since infancy, and as rapidly as in infancy. These changes manifest themselves in behaviors that are often difficult for adults to understand (even though they all experienced them) and that are usually bewildering for the adolescents. To cope with the challenges of these new behaviors, it is useful for both adolescents and the adults in their lives to understand the changes and the resulting behaviors.

The goals of this project is to teach students and educators how to create and mix audio for a podcast, as well as demonstrate how this technical skill can help students develop important 21st-century skills. It's a project I've done in classes from 3rd grade to graduate school and as an educational promotion for ISTE and NJAET.
