"Gold chloride is known to cause Peripheral Neuropathy. Peripheral neuropathy describes damage to the peripheral nerves, the vast communications network that transmits information from the brain and spinal cord to every other part of the body. Among the many the causes of peripheral neuropathy are neurotoxins such as gold chloride, they produce common symptoms including weakness, numbness, paresthesia (abnormal sensations such as burning, tickling, pricking or tingling) and pain in the arms, hands, legs and/or feet. A large number of cases are of unknown cause."

this is one of the worse case scenario for someone like me who completely rely on my grip and strength for my hands and legs and what i dont understand is how they could sell a product that did this to people without proper research and conduct to prevent this where as the goldmeso's product is supposr to be pure and help promote mental focus and fine motor skills which is great for me but im still a bit nervous on getting it because of what gold chloride did to people and goldmeso's is still made of of gold particles just more refined and more surface area so the option is still shaky to me

"Here he is, the champion, doing what he does best (other than ignoring his English teacher, I’m sure!) Apparently Mr. Omura here has dominated Japan’s first pen spinning tournament to become the “sport”’s ringleader. Congratulations to him. I’m sure he has a future ahead of him, spinning not only pens, but also new progressive ideas like pencils or, for the thrill of danger, trying to spin a pen in my English lesson. (Grr!)

Edit: His videos are available, and they are amazing.

But the real question is, where does one go after dominating the world of pen spinning? What other sports can Ryuki move into? Well, worry not Omuramaniacs, I’ve done my research. I think an obvious first move would be into a championship for another game that goes on in school alot. Janken. (Rock Paper Scissors). I had a good laugh looking at the advanced techniques of the World RPS Society website;"

i find this article really insulting to any pen spinner who doesn't speak English well because they assume just because they pen spin during class that they dont pay attention to the teacher at all and for one i may speak english well but damn straight i spin constantly in class and if you were to take a glance at me u wouldnt even believe that i was even trying to be a part of the class but nevertheless i still get high averages and good grades in my classes and its because of pen spinning that i dont entirely tune out the class and just sleep.

"Fine motor skills are described as the coordination of the small muscle movements which usually occur in the fingers and usually in coordination with the eyes. When in relation to the hands (and fingers) the term dexterity is most commonly used.

Manual dexterity is the ability for the hands and fingers to make coordinated movements. Strong fine motor skills, such as used with writing, knitting, sewing and other activities that involve the hands and fingers, rely on manual dexterity.

In young children, manual dexterity is developed normally through routine activities that also require hand-eye coordination. Some children’s fine motor skills develop faster and are stronger than those of others and some children with weak fine motor skills may struggle when learning to form letters and beginning to write."

This proves to me that teaching my child when i have one to do pen tricks at a young age would mroe benifical to him rather than waste his/her time with all the toys that require no dexterity to play with. i noticed that my sister have decent dexterity for a 6 year old because my mother often gives her color in booklets what require you to color in the lines and toys that either lego related or building required which is why she is able to write so well at a young age.

    "3. Pen Spinning
We all had a friend who did this, with way too much skill, in the middle class, right? And this friend had long hair and probably saved his old Arizona Tea bottles and filled them with highlighter fluid and stacked them behind his blacklight?

i find this to be very disturbing but true because of all the pen spinning videos i research 99% of the good ones were all Asian and there were a few non Asian good ones but if you were to compare the videos i would say the Asian videos took more attention
Is it racist to say that Asian kids are always better at dexterity tricks? I mean all these videos say "Korean kids" or "Japanese pen tricks" or something."

""Pen spinning is a form of object manipulation that involves the deft manipulation of a writing instrument with one's hands. Although it is often considered a form of self-entertainment, multinational competitions and meetings are sometimes held. This pastime originated in East Asia and is referred to as 'pen mawashi' in Japan."

When i read this i wasnt surpised on how pen spinning was used for entertainment because very often during class i spin to pass time and keep my attention away from the boredom. i find that pen spinning helps me not only mentally but physically too because of the amount of stress yoru hands take form constant spinning and the mental fatigue you face when your eyes have to constantly follow the pen while your spinning.

"WORK ON YOUR MANUAL DEXTERITY\n\nResearchers in the UK found that children improved their handwriting by playing games that increased their hand-eye coordination. Practice tying knots, shuffling cards, pen spinning or anything else that strengthens fine motor control. Even video games can help - according to a US study, surgeons who play video games are less prone to make errors. If it can help them with something that delicate, it certainly can improve your handwriting."\n\nso technically me practicing pen spinning will help me in college but a thing that stood out to me in the paragraph was that hand to eye reaction games can greatly improve your skill in all the things listed in the paragraph which is great because i play a game called DJ Max which is like DDR for your fingers but much harder so now that i know playing these games can help im going to play a lot more
