Jan Smith's List: Lego Mindstorms

Damien is the founder, senior editor and moderator at The NXT Classroom. This community of teachers consists of three distinct areas.

* Website: The website serves as a repository of information for teachers looking to implement robotics in their classroom. There are free lesson plans as well as building instructions for several LEGO robot designs. It also provides links to other resources on the web which teachers may find particularly useful.
* Mailing List: The mailing list currently has over 500 teachers and educators subscribed. It serves to bring together the knowledge of teachers all over the world, sharing ideas and helping one another to solve the problems often experienced by teachers new to the area.
* Robotics in Education eJournal: The eJournal is a more formal document that gives teachers an opportunity to show the amazing work they have achieved in their classroom. It is published roughly every 6 months and topics range from LEGO storage schemes to working with underprivileged students through to clever and novel classroom activities. Any teacher is invited to submit, all they require is great idea or a good story to tell.
