..the power of social networking, especially in the elementary school classroom, is the ease with which students can begin to take a leadership role. There is no “owner” of the space (like you might have with a teacher-led classroom blog), and there are multiple modes of communication and multiple spaces where a student might find their niche (from forums to blog posts to uploading media).
