Innovative Fiber Optic Solutions, LLC is seeking partnership with Rural Townships, municipalities, schools, no-profit organizations, hospitals, libraries, schools, other entities to apply to the broadband stimulus fund. Since the year 2000 ,we have deployed an IP hybrid network; using terrestrial for users (Fixed Wireless access points and point to point wireless links) connected to a fiber optic backbone. We are able to deploy this technology in a matter of weeks to rural southwestern ohio. We curently have a private 250 mile fiber optic network that connects businesses, schools, government and residential customers using this technology I feel we are best positioned to deliver broadband to these rural communities. What is holding us back is capital (funding). There is only so much a small company can do without the necessary funding. While this may indicate that maybe a larger company would be in a better position to provide this broadband to rural america, it hasn't. I believe it will take innovative small companies with a proven track record to deliver broadband to these rural locations with value added services they desire.
