A rich reference and tutorial site for media production. Although pitched to older students, teachers will find it useful for learning about media concepts and techniques in the event they find themselves teaching something they don't know a whole lot about. Interested students can also be directed to it to learn more about the tools they are using in media production projects.
700+ vids available on YouTube on a variety of topics. See the Khan Academy site for more on how these vids might be used.
Vido streaming site. Subscription required but if you have a LiveText account, you can get a subsciption for a very low price.
CPS On-Demand video service, so not available outside of the CPS network. I am putting it here for teachers at my school. Search by keywords, grade level and standard, save favorites. Videos are broken into small segments that are ideal for classroom use. Many videos include quizzes and/or lesson plans.
Besides the Wayback Machine, the Internet Archive has been adding thousands of moving images, audio recordings and texts.
