This is something I put together. It is still in development, but if you are interested in playing around with it, email me.
Make flashcards for online practice.
This is a wiki I set up for a class on Web 2.0 technologies. The wiki provides brief descriptions and examples of a number of Web 2.0 tools.
Geogebra is a free application useful for exploring geometry and algebra concepts. The program is similar to the pricey Geometer's Sketchpad, except -- it's free. There is also an active international user community, including wiki, to help with ideas on how to incorporate the application into instruction. The app continues to grow -- it now has a spreadsheet component as well.
A colorful dictionary of math terms for students. The site includes nice visual and math examples of the terms.
Portal to various online interactive math sites. Apps may be used for math investigations (of the sort, "move this -- what do you see?"). Needs teacher involvement (which is a good thing, no?)
Cute, cartoony online math activities covering a wide range on math topics. A teacher could direct a student to a particular activity to practice at own pace on a particular skill.
Interactive tool includes both positive and negative tiles. The site has a "solve a given equation" mode and a "model equation" mode. It would be nice if there was a "cancel" option to cancel out positive and negative values.
Nice step x step tutorial on identifying the key words in word problems.
A collection of Flash-based "learning objects" covering a wide range of topics and grade levels
Interactive math exercises. The site has tutorial type info, plus practice and games. Pages are cluttered with ads.
Several modules with step-by-step explorations of algebra concepts using the TI-83 / TI-84 calculators.
A collection of online math activities. Ad-supported, but the ads are not (too) intrusive.
Lots of stuff here, including an illustrated dictionary and nets for the Platonic solids (with tabs!)
Nice collection of kid-friendly problems and exercises. Great if you need some computer activities in a hurry.
Subscription-based site. Includes exploration-type activities with virtual manipulatives plus assessments (quizzes).
The title pretty much says it.
Collection of math lessons, part study guide, part quiz, with automatic calculation of score.
