Excellent resource put together by CyberPlayground. Defines copyright and the issues involved. Very relevant for teachers.
This curriculum developed by the Electronic Frontier Foundation is meant to help students think about copyright as something that is meaningful and relevant to them. Activities include worksheets, discussion guides, and a mock trial.
This pdf file is published by the United States Copyright Office. It explains the doctrine of fair use and how it applies to educators and librarians. The document is 24 pages long, and well worth dedicating the 20 minutes it would take to read it.
