Search images on Flickr that have are license through Creative Commons. This is a great tool to use to search images available for student use, with proper citations, that can be put in projects.
This site allows you to download photos and images to create a slideshow presentation complete with music, title page, speech bubbles, and animation. Basic service is free, but you can upgrade to premium membership for $39.99. Photoshow stories that are created under the basic membership only remain on your account for 29 days.
I thought this site would be interesting to use in the classroom because you can upload images and create an enlarged poster.
This ia a great site because Soundzabound is a fully licensed music library with unlimited rights for education use. Search for sound clips in a long list of categories from decade music clips to suspense, psychedelic, Tchaikovsky's works, game show music, and many more. This is a fee-for-service site
Set up a class blog in a teacher-controlled environment. Search through classroom blogs by state, country, or school level. You must have a passcode to register for the site.
Excellent video to use as a writing activity for goal setting. Wording can be read top down and bottom up so that meaning is changed.
