  • Army training at Middle Wallop

    Current use of the base at Middle Wallop is for Army pilot training using the Islander, the Gazelle, the Lynx and the Apache AH Mk 1. Can we get them to fly overhead on the same day as the Danebury Ring re-enactment. Middle Wallop airbase was key in the Battle of Britain.

      Join in our special
      celebrations at Minerva’s shrine in Edgar’s Field.
      Come and meet the Romans and Minerva’s owl. There will be a
      variety of activities and demonstrations at both venues,
      including a Roman blacksmith, leatherworkers, potters,
      dancers and crafts for you to take part in. A small
      encampment will be at Minerva’s shrine and there will be
      priestly offerings each day.
