The Connector has two levels of integration: (1) to enable single sign-on only which allows pre-existing Sakai users to enter their access credentials upon their first login attempt from within Google Apps; (2) to allow the administrator to set up automated role-based user account provisioning by mapping existing Groups and Organizational Units to roles (teachers, students, parents, etc.) which in turn are assigned to roles within the newly created Sakai accounts.
