you can redirect the file to another location and clear the Preserve Tree
check box if you do not wish the complete path to be re-created·To do a
redirected restore:
1. In Backup Exec,
go to Job Setup and open the Restore Job2. Click on File
Redirection under Destination in the Properties Box3. Select
Redirect file sets4. Enter the drive
letter of drive the file set will be redirected toa. Example of
local redirection - D:b. Example of
remote redirection - \\<SERVER NAME>\C:5. Enter the path
to the folder in Restore to path6. Enter the
Server Logon Account when restoring to a remote server and if account is
different from the Backup Exec Service Account (BESA)7. Run the Restore
Job again - Alternatively,
