Find mobile apps you'll love
All the major app stores in the mobile market today are filled to the brim with both free apps and paid apps. With the sharp rise in smartphone users over the last couple of years or so, there is also an increase in the demand for mobile apps for different mobile systems. Mobile app developers and content publishers alike have seen the immense potential of earning by way of these mobile apps. While it is easy to make money by selling paid apps, how can a mobile app developer earn by way of free apps?
Consumers Spend More Time on Mobile Apps than On Web: A new report from analytics firm Flurry, and reported by Mashable, compares mobile data statistics from both comScore and Alexa and found that in the month of June, users spent more time on mobile apps than on web surfing. Users were noted at spending 81 minutes per day using mobile applications as compared to 75 minutes surfing the web.
The mobile app market is heating up, both for paid and free apps. And we’re seeing numerous app developers and content publishers jumping into the market every day looking to make money on this opportunity. If you can get consumers to pay for your app, great. But with all the free apps already available for smartphones and tablet devices such as Apple’s upcoming iPad, many newcomer apps will likely have to be free, too, in order to compete.
