There has been the myth that libraries are not longer needed because everything is a google search away. However, some people fail to realize that Google decontextualizes information. Most of us as teachers want our students under our subject in context. Now more than ever, the aid of a librarian is valuable to both teachers and student to help everyone navigate through this rapidly changing landscape of information.
