SINOPSE: Se você está em contato com crianças em idade escolar e com adolescentes, certamente já ouviu falar em bullying. A palavra bullying vem da língua inglesa e significa ameaçar, amedrontar ou intimidar. O termo tornou-se bastante divulgado e usado ao redor do mundo como identificação de um conjunto de atitudes e práticas agressivas e intencionais, adotadas repetidamente por uma criança ou um adolescente - ou um grupo - contra outro que não tem condições de defesa. A prática vem muitas vezes em forma mascarada de "brincadeira", provendo diversão às custas da vítima, com um prazer perverso.

SINOPSE: Nos últimos anos, na leitura de blogs e outros sites, tenho me deparado muitas vezes com o termo "abuso espiritual". É um assunto que parece ter ganhado certa extensão, com blogs inteiros dedicados a ele. O termo descreve uma realidade clara − em nosso mundo contaminado pelo pecado, onde quer que haja autoridade espiritual, pode haver abuso de autoridade algumas vezes. No entanto, também estou preocupado com o fato de que o termo pode ser usado de forma ampla demais se não o definirmos cuidadosamente. Afinal, os líderes têm de liderar e, às vezes, eles precisam liderar de forma que pode não ser popular. Tenho certeza de que há momentos em que qualquer atuação de uma liderança, e especialmente uma atuação corretiva, pode ser percebida como abusiva.
