If you love waterfalls then you absolutely HAVE to head to upstate New York and check out the waterfalls around the Finger Lakes!
My sister and I headed to upstate New York to check out a gorge and some waterfalls. The three sections of the falls are HUGE, be prepared for a shower of waterfall mist!
Thought I'd share another outdoor adventure of mine. Shawna, Monkey (her dog) and I decided to take a trip to Ohiopyle State Park and check out some waterfalls. This place is great! The water's so clear and there's a lot you can do here. There's 3 main waterfalls that I focused on. I posted a bunch of pictures and a video of our visit to the Ohiopyle State Park here.
After checking out the George W. Childs Recreation Site I decided to take a short drive to check out Raymondskill Falls. There's 3 sections to the falls and it's the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania! Definitely worth the trip. I posted a bunch of pictures and a video of my visit to Raymondskill Falls here.
After checking out Dingmans Falls and Silver Thread Falls I decided to take a very short drive upstream and check out the 3 waterfalls at the George W. Childs Recreation Site. There's a great hiking loop here past all three falls on both sides of the creek. It's a great spot for a picnic and, if you're a rebel, swimming. I posted a bunch of pictures and a video of my visit to the George W. Childs Recreation Site here.
After checking out Bushkill Falls I decided to take a quick drive up to see Dingmans Falls and Silver Thread Falls. In my opinion, this place was way better than Bushkill Falls. It was free for starters, how nature should be, and Dingmans Falls was nicer than the main falls at Bushkill. I posted a bunch of pictures and a video of my visit to Dingmans Falls here.
