Trainz Classics UK
fix errors
-
- Download the new common.gs script from the link on the right (Right-click and 'save link as' or 'Save target as')
- Copy the updated common.gs file into the scripts folder (replacing the current one)
- Edit the trainzclassicoptions.txt file and add "-script" (without the quotes) onto the bottom of the file
- Start TC3 (It will recompile the scripts so will take a few seconds longer than usual)
- Check you can change the start amount of an industry
- Close TC3 and edit the trainzclassicoptions.txt file to remove the "-script" line
You will need to follow these instructions exactly in order to use this fix.

t's not as bad as it sounds m8. Firstly copy your Railsim directories "Assets & Content" to a safe place. Uninstall RS and make sure the RS directory has been erased. To re-install, "RS > Mk1 > and the latest version of DevTools". Then copy back in your original "Assets & Contents" directories you saved earlier, and ensure all copies of "Blueprints.pak" are deleted.
This all sounds a lot, but I think it all took me 30 minutes yesterday!

You will get a zero byte marker file if you have scripting turned off in your PC, or if you are using Vista and RS_Tools is not being used with Administrator privileges.
Scripting can be turned on by going to the Start/Run box and entering
regsvr32.exe scrrun.dll
Then clicking the OK button.
