"I would have to say that out of my list of most annoying monsters in Dungeons and Dragons Online, slimes have to be at the top of the list. The reason I say that is because of their ability to degrade and ultimately destroy your gear.Muckbane as wielded by Fortuente Cessian II.
Even though many players have their own opinions on what weapon material degrades the fastest or what type of side weapon to carry to deal with slimes, everyone can agree on what the single best weapon in the game is to deal with these oozing menaces: Muckbane."
Whether your think of them as Exploration Zones or Adventure Areas, Dungeons & Dragons Online has several of these locations that can be explored by any adventurer looking for discovery, quests, and treasure. Each of these areas potentially contains three types of quests.
Slayer Quests: These quests give you experience for killing a certain group of opponents. The more you kill, the more experience you gain.
Explorer Quests: These quests give you experience for locating points of interest in the zone. All you have to do is move to the special spot and you should get credit for exploration. There are two types of points of interest, Lore and Dungeon Entrances. Lore can be anywhere on the map, but Dungeon Entrances is always the entrance to a short dungeon or a quest, as the name implies When all of the points of interest are located, an additional experience reward is dolled out.
Rare Encounter Quests: These quests provide you with a check list of rare encounters that may spawn each time the instance is refreshed. Nearly all of them will provide a special treasure chest when defeated, but not all are killing encounters. Each encounter is worth experience, and when the whole list is completed, a bonus allotment of experience is given. After you know a zone well enough, just quickly hitting each of the rare encounters can make an effective loot run.
