January 5, 2002, The Philippine Star, President Arroyo leads ceremony to install new governor of ARMM,

Cotabato City: President Arroyo today led the installation of Dr Parouk S. Hussin as governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).

Hussin, along with Vice-Gov Mahid Mutilan and other ARMM officials were officially installed in a ceremony held at the Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex situated inside the ARMM complex in this city.

The ceremony was witnessed by 17 ambassadors and representatives of various countries, 13 them coming from the influential Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC).

The ARMM is composed of the provinces of Maguindanao, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Lanao del Sur, and Basilan, and the City of Marawi.
