DAVAO CITY-An arrest order has been issued against the publisher of the tabloid Abante Tonite and two other staff members in connection with the libel charges that involved Davao City Rep. Prospero Nograles. Judge Isaac Robillo Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 13 last week issued the arrest order against publisher Allen Macasaet, his editor Nicolas Quijano and reporter Bernard Taguinod who are facing 25 libel cases. Robillo set a P10,000 bond in each case or a total of P250,000 for each of the three accused. The three have been indicted for allegedly conspiring in the publication of the alleged malicious report concerning an incident in a Manila hotel where Nograles allegedly ran naked.
