Diigo Toolbar Basics
Diigo toolbar is packed with advanced features and is fully customizable!
Via toolbar's Options, you can select to display only the components (icons) you use frequently (with
or without text description) to help you conserve your toolbar desktop space!
To quickly familiarize yourself with the toolbar, hover the cursor over each
toolbar button to get short explanations.
The Diigo Button Menu
Before you sign-in, the toolbar looks as follows:
![]()
Once you sign-in, and when you click the little arrow next to the
DIIGO button, you will see the
following:

Toolbar Options
Clicking the Options in the pull-down menu (shown above) under the Diigo button leads you to
the Options panel, which allows you to customize many aspects of the toolbar.
Most of the settings are probably quite self-evident.
Filtered Bookmarks List
The second button of the toolbar from the left is labeled as "My Bookmarks" in default (see above), which simply lists your latest bookmarks in the pull-down menu. But it is really much more than that -- it provides quick access to your filtered bookmark lists pulled out according to the tag filter you set by clicking "EDIT FILTER" in the pull-down menu. "My Bookmarks" button is then renamed to the tags you use in the filter. For example, in the sample screenshot below, it is now set to retrieve all bookmarks tagged with "Links".
Recently used tag filters can be easily accessed through the arrow next
to "EDIT FILTER".
