Rapid Bookmarking: QuickD
If you're in a hurry, the toolbar offers the QuickD button. By default, the QuickD button does not show up on the
toolbar. To show the QuickD button, go to the Diigo toolbar's option panel and add the QuickD button.
Clicking "QuickD" button while visiting a
website will automatically save the
bookmark to your "My Bookmarks" section without the usual Bookmark pop-up window.
Diigo offers two ways to automatically enter the tags during QuickD. You can switch to either setting anytime right under the
QuickD pull-down on the toolbar:

- "CAPTURE SEARCH TERM(S): If you use Diigo toolbar's search box to search for sites, and your search term(s) reflect the site's content you wish to bookmark, you can choose to have these added directly as tags to the QuickD bookmark.
- "DEFAULT TAG": use the default tag for easy reference. You can later pull up all
your default tag bookmarks through QuickD and do a batch editing at once.
The default tag is currently set as "QuickD", and can be changed to whatever you want inside the toolbar option menu
(go to Diigo>>Options>>Toolbar Tab>>QuickD Rapid Bookmarking edit box):

Tips:
- When researching some subject, some users find it convenient and
efficient to do the following: 1) Use QuickD to bookmark all useful
pages with a default tag, say quickd; 2) Once done, use tag-editing to
change the default tag to desired tags. This approach has the
added advantage of making you use more uniform and well-thought-out tags.
