This is really a test ROM like Szappy says.


I have a problem with the phone sometime it take where long time to recognize my SIM.





BTW: if someone wants to make his devices discoverable by bluetooth he can do that by editing the following regkey:


HKCU\software\microsoft\bluetooth\settings there ScanMode set it to 7


Other options:


0=Off


5=Detect


7=discoverable

It worked great!


I also found out another method (already described on another topic)


Reset the PDA and then press Vol Up, DPAD Down. It will enter the uboot menu.

OK, I have modified the flashing instructions in the first post, now it should work flawlessy without the annoyng "Invalid Selection" message. Please follow these steps:





1. Download the USB ROM updater tool.


2. Check that your PDA is not connected to your PC.


3. Disable USB option in Active Sync by right clicking on tray icon, Choosing <Connection Settings> and then Unmarking <Allow USB connections> (Do not forget to enable this after finishing the guide).


4. Enter in the bootloader menu by pressing and holding VolumeUP button + NavigationDown button and then pressing and holding RESET button for 4 seconds and releasing the reset button and when the menu appears then the other pressed buttons.


5. In your PDA select option FlashROM Upgrade > CE img with USB


6. Connect your PDA to the PC through USB and wait a couple of seconds.


7. In your PC Run the ROM updater and press OK.


8. In your PC select the OS file (BDTL0_SCOTERMSFLSH50.bin) that you want to restore as image File 1, press OK and follow the instructions in your PC and in your PDA screens.
