This is a game built with machine learning. You draw, and a neural network tries to guess what you’re drawing. Of course, it doesn’t always work. But the more you play with it, the more it will learn. So far we have trained it on a few hundred conce…

I'm presenting with @KCJ_Kai on Artificial Intelligence to Manitoba teachers @byteconference We're using QuickDraw to demonstrate a neural network and my doodles are... not good. Have you played https://t.co/c3fpGplZE9 with your students? #ByteMB @KidsCo

This is a very nice Web 2.0 tool that I was introduced to by students in my classroom “hey Mr. Peck check this out” almost always leads to more interesting things than education articles. The web 2.0 tools in all the readings this week were very outdated and not so useful in my middle school art classroom in 2020 when every kid has access to an ipad. Google Quick Draw is a drawing game a lot like Pictionary, where you draw and the computer’s AI imaging recognition software tries to guess what you draw. It is timed and students get very excited about whether they can draw the Mona Lisa before the time runs out well enough for the computer to guess what it is (for example). I will be using this in my class as an enrichment activity for students who earn “iPad time”.

Thx @TheSPearson for sharing https://t.co/PwQz9EKKqM at our SSD meeting this morning! You need to check this out #ocsbArts teachers! Super fun and a great way to start a conversation about artificial intelligence with Ss!
This is why I join webinars- I always gain a new golden nugget. Learned about 'Google Quick Draw' from @TheSPearson -so fun & a great way to engage all students as a minds-on or for downtime. Access to multiple languages too! https://t.co/c3Rm6wm0nn # -
