Tags are simply keywords that you include when you bookmark a site.

Things to remember about tagging in Diigo:
1. Tags can be separated by a space or a space and a comma.
2. Individual tags need to be just one word… If you use two word phrases without linking them with an “under_score” or creating “compoundwords” by eliminating the space between the words, then effectively you are adding two tags.
3. To save time tags should be short when appropriate.
4. The more tags the better.
5. Tags in Diigo are all converted to lowercase text.
