sarahkaras88This site contains information about a browser designed specifically for children with autism in mind. The downfall at the moment is that it is only available for PC, so if you want to run it on a MAC you need to install and run Boot Camp. Since I have a Mac, I couldn't test it out. However, I found some cool tutorials of it on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQ3NbdG-YX4) and it seems pretty neat. It definitely offers an alternative way for students to search for things. Having said that, the other drawback (in my opinion) is that it seems somewhat limited in what can be accessed because it make sure it links to only G rated sites. I would be interested to see how this browser could work in a school setting and what you guys think of it.
