antsuvWWF works to help local communities conserve the natural resources they depend upon; transform markets and policies toward sustainability; and protect and restore species and their habitats. Our efforts ensure that the value of nature is reflected in decision-making from a local to a global scale.
WWF connects cutting-edge conservation science with the collective power of our partners in the field, more than one million supporters in the United States and five million globally, as well as partnerships with communities, companies, and governments.
Today, human activities put more pressure on nature than ever before, but it’s also people who have the power to change this trajectory. Together, we can address the greatest threats to life on this planet and protect the natural resources that sustain and inspire us. -

lmetc5791. Currency - The information on the World Wildlife website was posted in 2015. The information is updated and revised very often. Our topic for the webquest is endangered animals. This means current information is more of what we want, however old information can be used as well. All of the links are functional and working.
2. Relevance - Yes, this website is perfect for our topic of endangered animals. This website has a specific endangered species section. The intended audience of this website is for all ages, there is no specific audience it is aiming for. The information is set at an appropriate level. It is easy to understand and it is organized very well. I have looked at many websites and have decided this is the best one to use as a resource for our webquest. I would be comfortable citing this in my research paper on endangered animals.
3. Authority - The Publisher of this website is the World Wildlife Fund. This organization is based in Washington, D.C. and is world wide. I believe the authors of this website are qualified to write this information because they have been hired to do so. It is a well known, nation wide funding organization to save the endangered species lives. As far as contact information goes, there is an entire web page of phone numbers and email addresses to contact the different roles behind the World Wildlife Fund. The website itself ends in .org because it is a non-profit organization.
4. Accuracy - The information comes from the World Wildlife Fund organization. There are researchers and people who are out in the fields observing and working with these endangered species. These people report back to the headquarters and keep them updated on what is going on. Personally, I can verify this website because I have used it in a previous research project in high school. The tone of the website is unbiased, they are not begging you for your money. The website is simply informing you what is going on with our world's endangered species and what you can do to help save them. There are no spelling or typographical errors, it is very well put together.
5. Purpose - The purpose of this information is to inform the audience of the endangered species and what we can do to help them. The website makes it very clear that they are here to inform you of what is happening with the endangered species and not to beg you for your donation. The information is fact. The point of view is objective because it is not biased. There are no political, ideological, cultural, religious, institutional, or personal biases. It is a website full of straight facts.
The World WildLife Fund is one of the world's largest conservation organizations. It employs 6,200 full time staff daily. Over the 50 years since it was founded, WWF has invested around US $11.5 billion in more than 13,000 projects. The mission of WWF is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.
I could use this website in my classroom to teach my students about the different animal species and which ones are endangered. This is a great website to have the students use for a research project because of all the facts and valid information that is presented.
The visuals on this website are awesome and extremely colorful. They have beautiful pictures of the animals as well as of their environments. -

Matthew RoseFounded in 1961, World Wildlife Fund's (WWF) mission is the conservation of nature. Using the best available scientific knowledge and advancing that knowledge where we can, we work to preserve the diversity and abundance of life on Earth and the health of ecological systems by: protecting natural areas and wild populations of plants and animals, including endangered species; promoting sustainable approaches to the use of renewable natural resources; and promoting more efficient use of resources and energy and the maximum reduction of pollution. We are committed to reversing the degradation of our planet's natural environment and to building a future in which human needs are met in harmony with nature. We recognize the critical relevance of human numbers, poverty and consumption patterns to meeting these goals. From Charity Navigator, http://www.charitynavigator.org/

Man is the greatest animal of the world, perhaps in the Universe! So it is our duty that not to do anything which is harmful to the other animals. We should be more careful and gentle to the other animal. Because they are also living being. They also have right to live their own life. It is not only human’s world, it is our world. We should admit that we are like a family in this planet. So as a guardian we should take care of them to. They can feel love, anger sorrow pain, every emotions of the life. It is true that they are not like us but it is also true that they are unavoidable part of us. They just only want love from us.
