  Babbel is a website that allows users to practice with foreign languages. Users can pick several from different languages they want to practice with and the site will take them through some simple practice exercises on that language. Additionally, Babbel provides links to free translation tools, dictionary tools, learning languages from YouTube and more. Foreign Language teachers or ELL teachers may use this site as a resource, or extra practice to get students more proficient in a certain language.

  I chose this tool because it will be very helpful for me as well as my students that are learning English. It can also help with the students communicating with their peers that are learning English. This resource provides a Spanish-English dictionary and I can use it with my students that speak English to help translate conversations, questions, assignments and reading material for both me and the students.

  This would allow me to translate the labels within the classroom into different languages. Within early childhood settings, and any school setting for that matter, having children that have a home language different than English is very common. These children are described as English Language Learners. Having labels in the classroom with the children's home language on it, would make the materials more accessible to those children and also their families.
