rachaelstewardIn the "Right Brain vs Left Brain Creativity Test" (2010) The Art Institute of Vancouver uses a test to determine whether someone is right brained or left brained. The author uses several different categories to determine the results and to state that each person has a different way of learning and how they differ in those who are more dominant on one side of the brain. Each has a detailed description of the characteristics of the learning process of a right brain and left brained person.
The test asks various questions regarding creativity, learning process, hobbies, etc. in order to determine which side is most dominant for the person testing. The author is efficient in making the connection between the characteristics of each side of the brain and the tester. This source is efficient to the subject of Art Therapy used to relieve stress in schools for it shows how each students learns different and how creativity appeals to each person and that "Being creative or artistic doesn't mean you know how to draw or play an instrument. Being creative is a way of thinking, a way of viewing the world" which shows how not everyone needs to be talented in order to have the benefits of art and creativity. -
