The author starts out well and ends up talking about what amounts to Intelligence mercenaries. Companies such as Raytheon and Booze Allen Hamilton have one goal - profit. War and terror are good for profit. Not much of a stretch to see Intelligence mercenaries helping this along, but this seems just a new, small twist to the military-industrial complex.
