WASHINGTON, June 2 (UPI) -- The United States and Turkey Monday began a 15-year agreement to cooperate on peaceful uses of nuclear energy, the U.S. State Department said.
The pact "provides a comprehensive framework for peaceful nuclear cooperation" between the two nations, "under agreed non-proliferation conditions and controls," the State Department news release stated.
