tonnmkA magazine that is written by teens. This is a place where students can share their writing, and have a chance at getting it published. It's also a great place to expose teens to writing done by people their age. There are opportunities for students to learn and increase their writing skills as well.

smithke1• URL: http://www.teenink.com/
• Description: Teen Ink is a unique site which showcases student work from all over the world. It aids in making reading more approachable because all of this work is published by peers. Additionally, students have the option to add their own work to this site.
• Credibility: I see the least amount of credibility on this site. While it seems professional and user-friendly, it does not provide much information about publishers. There are not any well-known groups supporting this initiative. The website was designed from Emerson Media, which is a generic website design site. The content of the site varies because the work is submitted by students. Overall, I would say that it is credible because it is appropriate and professional.
• Objectives: This publishing opportunity lends itself to some more difficult objectives. Generally, students are required to show some sort of presentation or sharing work in small groups… This provides a new and refreshing way to do so. In addition, it is making the audience bigger than the classroom and school. -
