This article showed 13 completely different schools from what we think of when we think of school. It was so interesting to see what other types of schools are out there. There's a Steve Jobs school that lets student work at their own pace, a school built like an office with small cubicles for students to work at like their own "desk" at a real job and another school in Sweden that avoids gender based pronouns like he and she.

Innovation in education can look like lots of things, like incorporating new technology or teaching methods, going on field trips, rejecting social norms, partnering with the local community.
-
Or it can be a school that's blind to gender, like Egalia, in Stockholm, Sweden.

It can be a floating school in an impoverished region, like the one in Lagos, Nigeria.
Or it can be a school that's blind to gender, like Egalia, in Stockholm, Sweden.
