Rachael StrubleThis site is, again, a huge resource for videos talking about subjects, stages of child development, roles of people in the school system, the school as a whole, and careers for teachers in the professional environment. There are featured videos as well as a search box if you have anything in specific. These videos are mainly resources for teachers, not students.

Jordana Wilmott-StokesTeachers TV is an excellent program for the teaching community consisting of general education interest programs, including current issues in education and curriculum based-programs for both primary and secondary classrooms. Teachers have the opportunity to become teacher TV associates and recieve invitations to a variety of events, join interactive discussion forums and opportunities to become involved with the making of teachers TV programmes. A great way for teachers to see current issues on technology education and share their own views on technology education as well as other curriculum areas.

Teachers TV is funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) but is operated by an independent media consortium, Education Digital which is split into the following two companies:
* Education Digital Management Ltd (EDML)
EDML has control of all editorial, programming and channel management issues relating to Teachers TV. UK Registration No. 4934528
* Education Digital 2 Ltd (ED2L)
ED2L provides the financial and administrative back-up to EDML
ED2L is owned by Brook Lapping productions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ten Alps plc and ITN. UK Registration No. 6329357
Although Teachers TV is funded by the DCSF, it is editorially independent of government. This is a requirement of the 2003 Communications Act and Ofcom, the regulator for the UK communications industries.
To ensure the channel remains editorially independent but is also accountable for the public money it receives, a governance process has been established, managed by the Teachers TV Board of Governors.
