Starfall was created by a non-profit organization and offers a cheap membership fee for those who wish to sign up for one. I would use this in my classroom for a reading center. This would be a great website to let students use individually. They are learning basic skills in phonics that are going to teach them the skills and strategies they need in order to read.

This website is for younger students, but will help them to begin learning the English language. On this site students are able to work with the ABC's, read simple stories, as well as working on their math skills. In my future classroom I would like to use this as a reading/literacy breakout group substitute. If I had an ELL student that was struggling in the traditional groups this website would be good to get them on track and moving in the right direction. Comprehension and vocabulary is crucial to understand before the rest of the language can fall into place and I feel as though this website will help students reach that objective.
