A PARAMEDIC was left needing emergency treatment after being dazzled by a laser pen whilst taking a seriously ill patient to Southport Hospital.
The un-named ambulance driver was zapped by a blinding beam while he drove along Southport Road, past the Morris Dancers pub, heading towards Kew.
