It's unfortunate that Sloan chose to set those percentages to the amount of content online (or "content delivery") instead of focusing on actual learning activities. One of the advantages of online (and\nblended/hybrid) courses is that the emphasis on delivering content -- the performance aspect of teaching, for many f2f classes -- can be greatly reduced and the focus shifted to what students are doing, instead of what teachers are doing.\n\nIt's bad enough that the popular press can't make the distinction between online courses and simply putting content online, but I would have hoped for something a bit more forward-thinking from Sloan.
