victoria anthonyPhotogen is a free stock photo site that has numerous photos divided into categories you can search. You can also just search through the entire site photo by photo or use the search bar for a specific photo. Some of the categories of the site are: art, transportation, technology, animals, business, housing, food and drink, and nature. Photogen provides free, quality stock photography for both commercial and personal use. I am not sure where they get the photos from as I looked around the website thoroughly and did not find any answer. The material/ images were very easy to find. The website is simple but of good quality. Photogen has all free images that are all high quality. There are a few limitations under the terms of use link but they can be worked with and the restrictions are minimal.

Ron CapistranoPhotogen provides free stock photography for both commercial and personal use. They offer high-resolution images in a number of different subjects, within 19 different categories such as arts, home, business, celebrations, nature and technology. Although numerous subjects are offered with high-resolution files, some of the topics only have about three pages of choices. It is easy to navigate through the site and find images you need or as close to your desired subject. The site is a public site, and require no credit or royalties, but they appreciate credit or links to site. Photogen initially started selling the hi-res images, but became a free site in December 2006. All images seem to be consistent with the lighting color and neutral backgrounds. Free is always good and the images are in high-res JPEG format. From the multiple thumbnails I've clicked, I only see one file format and one size.

The users just need to double check to make sure that the pictures that they want are secure images so then they can be seen at their best result.

You do have to register in order to download the site but it is free to register. Navigation is pretty straight forward. Images are high quality and you can choose from various sizes.
