You have to buy a book with the awkward mobile site, and then hope it appears in your "bookshelf.

Nor does eReader make it easy to transfer a DOC, HTML, or PDF file to the iPhone the way Stanza does
I do like the dictionary capability eReader offers, which Stanza doesn't. It's an extra-cost option, though, so you've got to buy, download, and unlock an e-dictionary. The cheapest is $6.50; Merriam-Webster's Collegiate costs $25.95
