husker94This site includes 100 documents that relate to American History. These include the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Zimmerman telegram, and Brown v. Board of Education. The documents span from 1776 to 1965. I selected this website because for each document it provides excellent sourcing and contextualizing information. Another reason I picked it is that for each document, the site has also included digital images for the original and a transcript.

Sandra FeyThis website has many primary and government documents relating to the history of the United States. One area that I really enjoyed exploring was the tools for educators. Under that section, they had many tips for librarians such as creating book displays, bulletin board ideas, and a link to a poster so staff and students can vote on the most important American history documents.

emilycombsA collection of documents that changed American history, this site is very well designed. A teacher sourcebook can be downloaded. A scrolling list of documents, each represented only with a picture and, when scrolling over it, the title, make it interesting and fun. Students of all ages would benefit from its use.
