Rebecca LivseyIt can be used for college age level but it can also be used in the high school. I found it interesting that it gives all these different ways you can use Twitter in the classroom. You can take a poll, you can have groups work on group projects together through twitter, students can send direct tweets to the teacher asking questions, if something changes the teacher can send out a mass tweet to his/her students. You get to know you students much more then you would normally because you dont normally get a chance to really get to know all of your students and talk with them during the day. For teachers you can follow stories about what is going on in your field. This website even says you can create a Twitter treasure hunt for the students. Who wouldnt want to try that? It makes you think of how these things we use everyday can get turned into something fun for a teacher to do in their classrooms.
