  I thought is was cool that statistics were involved in things we use everyday - like Google and Netflix. It makes it seem more important, to see how it applies to real life, not just school.

  In this article, I noticed that the new and modern serge of statistics is due to the flourishing technology. Computers have opened new doors for statistics and because they are so new, the new field is very exiciting and many are being drawn to it. This new world of technology allows for many people to interact and for scholars to study the people's interactions, which gives statistics a new importance.
