Usually, use the site map; alphabetical site index; or featured content archive would be easy way to get start. This site is divided three categories which are lesson plans and guides, video tutorials, and resources and best practices. The lesson plans and guides category is simply go by subject, grade, and technology. You can choose one to start to make lesson plans. The end of the page, they also attach the full lesson plan so that you only need to download without registration. In the lesson plan category, they also link “related resources” and “instructional videos.” Therefore, the Lesson plans and guides category is really simple and helpful to prepare lesson. Second, the Video Tutorials-technology skills category gives easy guides to using technology. They also give you Video Lessons about technology tools such as power point presentations, video production, web content creation, etc. During the watching the video lessons, it is slow and clear lecturing so that you can easy to follow the lessons. Also, there are lots of diversity topics so that you can select the video which you want to know. Last, the resource category is filled up with lots of linked-other resources but it is really attractive display. Overall I prefer Nortel Learn I to Hot Chalk. The Nortel Learn I is simply but well organized so that I can easy to find some resource without overwhelming.

Maureen LaflecheThis site is nicely set up. It really uses the principles of udl. It also has great video tutorials for learning curriculum. It offers free, educator-created and classroom tested technology tutorials for teachers and students. These short videos (about 4 minutes each) offer a quick way to successfully get up to speed in specific technology concepts. It also has nice lesson plans that are set up by subject, grade and technology.
