  Purpose: NickJr is a website for students in elementary school. This website is based off Nickelodeon the TV channel. There's games and full videos on the website which is based off the TV shows on Nickelodeon. There's characters from the shows on this website within games to help students. There's math games, literature games, and self care games that incorporate their favorite shows and characters. There's also a parents/teacher tab where they can go on and create lesson plans using the videos or games. They can also print out pages and printable for their children or students.

  Literature
  Relevant Standard: CC.1.1.1.D Know and apply grade level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.
  
  Authority: NickJr was created by the Nickelodeon Group which is a unit of the Viacom Media Network Division.
  
  Accuracy: NickJr is extremely accurate based off their content from the Nickelodeon Jr channel. It incorporates new characters from their favorite shows to the educational games and videos they then play on NickJr.com. When I browsed through the games their information and curriculum matched the appropriate age group. There's also self care games which allows students of a younger age to help a character brush their teeth, comb their hair, etc. The content on the games are accurate to each grade level and the curriculum they should be learning.
  
  Visual Element: The first thing I noticed about NickJr was that there was no drop own box or tabs. There's not even a search bar for students to search a given subject or topic. This would be confusing and difficult for students to find that they are looking for. The student would have to scroll through hundreds of games and clips to find what they're looking for. The website is very fun and eye catching for young students. The games are also really fun and educational for a younger age group. The parents/teacher section is well organized and allows for the adults to easily select that what they want- lesson plan, printable, resources, etc.
  
  NickJr is a website that I'd use for my younger students if I was a Kindergarten or 1st grade teacher. This website is really nice because it corresponds with TV shows that the students are most likely watching at home. I'd use this website for free time or at the end of the day when students have finished what needs to be done. I'd definitely not pick this over BrainPop though. The website can be quite frustrating and hard to find what is needed.
