  • Useless Extensions
  • ChromEdit
  • IE Tab (170KB) is a decent extension, but Launchy (28KB) covers
all browsers, and editors and a lot more so IE Tab would be redundant.
  • Tab Mix Plus (TMP) (315KB) is a very big unnecessary extension as most wanted features
are covered better in Options, user preferences, and small userChrome.css addition, and
Firefox 2.0 has a builtin session manager.  The Tab Configuration settings can be
seen together on-site in tabs_config, extracted from About:config entries - MozillaZine Knowledge Base.  Would recommend against installing in your default Firefox profile
but would be good to have in a profile for checking bad links because of the ability to Freeze a tab
(which combines two other tab options)
so that the tab won't be accidentally deleted, but more important is to force links in such a tab to open in a new tab because such things could destroy the style changes inserted for checking bookmarks
or a bookmarklet included for readability (in such a profile with TMP also include Link Checker, Launchy, CopyURL Plus (with your customizations), and Quick Restart)
