CASES of cervical cancer could be cut by nearly three-quarters in Cheshire, as a result of a new vaccination programme that is getting under way over the next few weeks.
Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in women worldwide and the HPV, or human papillomavirus, vaccine is being offered to all 12 and 13-year-old girls in school year 8.
