bnearmeseo77If you are a business owner or marketing manager, the customers you might like to cater to are probably all active on one social network site or another. Because of this, you should establish a social media presence and take your business to them. Do a little poll within your existing customer base, and see which social networking sites they are part of.

When guest posting on another blog, make sure the blog owners allows your to add a backlink to your site. Also, afford your guest bloggers a similar courtesy. When you have engaging content your regular followers like, they will spread it around the internet, hopefully drawing more followers to you.
Take the initiative to follow your customers and reach out to them away from social media. If your customers have a blog and are posting about your company, engage with them and interact on their blog. Link to their content on your social media pages and this will encourage more people to follow you from the bloggers fan base.
If you gain an additional follower on Twitter, make sure that you reciprocate this action. Most Twitter users expect this courtesy. Your customers will know that you respect them and consider them to be just as important as yourself. You should always send a tweet to new visitors and follow them as well, you can keep them by doing this.
