amanda WhittonThis is a great site for K-2 using base ten blocks the students have to move the blocks to match what X =. As they move the blocks the numeral equivalent is shown until they reach the desired amount. Another aspect of this activity is that the value goes down as each block is removed.

Lisa StaffordBase 10 is a great online activity to use on your IWB. Using MAB blocks you a presented with a number to make. You need to drag the appropriate MAB blocks onto the yellow mat to make the number. Once successful a new number will appear for you to make. You can adjust what amounts to make by clicking the 1, 10 or 100 buttons to the side.
