Kathleen HagertyI selected this as a good resource because it matches certain qualities in order to meet the standards of classroom use. This website's currency is well up to date, and its authority is also trustworthy. The website is a branch off of a website called Annenberg Learner which is funded by a non-profit organization called the Annenberg Foundation. The fact that it is ".org" rather than ".com" also gives the site credibility. Lastly, the site is colourful and interesting, something that will grab childrens' attention and keep them interested in the lesson. For application in the classroom, I could have a volunteer click the buttons that are necessary to continue the lesson, and discuss the pictures that are shown, while the students attempt to guess the answers before they come onto the screen.
