jordangpayneCriteria:
*Easy to use website
*Free
*Applicable to grade-level
*Engages the students
1. This website provides a great resources for teachers to use. Teachers can select what grade they teach (1-5) and are provided with links to worksheets that supplements their students' learning. The website offers word problems related to different holidays. This would be very helpful and interactive to students.
2. These worksheets could be used as supplemental material for students to use after the teacher has taught a certain material. They could be done on the students own time at home, or in class when all assignments are completed.
3. "Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies. (See standard 6, Grade 1, for a list of mental strategies.) By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers." This site provides resources that make students use their knowledge of adding and subtracting one-digit numbers.
4. This website is very clear and easy to use. It provides hyperlinks to every link of every website where the worksheet can be downloaded. This goes along with our criteria because it is very user-friendly.
5. I chose this website because it was directly linked from the ALCOS link. It seemed most closely applicable to different grade levels and was very easy to use. The worksheets were also free. -

Emily NilesAgain, this may not be the most eye catching website, but it's pretty user friendly. It has an introduction of what the website is about and how to go through it right on the front of the homepage. Below that, it's broken up into grades and generally easy to find what you're looking for. I like this one because it has word problems about holidays, seasons, etc.
